A bit about me
Dr. Diane Aubin, MSc PhD
After working to improve healthcare systems for over 10 years at the Canadian Medical Protective Association then the Canadian Patient Safety Institute, I was compelled to study the psychology of errors in healthcare. My doctoral thesis explored the impact of shame on health professionals after an adverse event. Since joining the Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research unit, I have also focused ensuring research makes a difference to patients and healthcare. I now share this knowledge and passion with health professionals and healthcare organizations, supporting them through training, coaching, strategic planning and program development.
